I'm from Richmond, Virginia. Grieved to say I do not have a southern accent. "I do declare!" (See, it's a lost cause.)
I graduated with a Psychology degree from The College of William & Mary. (George Washington and Glenn Close went there. You know, nbd.) There, I did a graphic design internship with the school's Creative Services.
Following graduation, I moved to Seattle. I then got a job (mom say 'hallelujah') in marketing and communications at a private school. I did social media, design, and photography.
Moved to France for graduate school. At the American University of Paris, I studied visual storytelling, branding, and cross-cultural communications.
Wrapped up my master's project in Cape Town with an internship at Greenpop, an urban greening and reforestation NGO. There I solely produced, filmed, and edited a video for a preservation project.
Landed a job in San Francisco at a music conservatory, managing and producing digital content. I designed social media assets, shot and edited small-scale videos, managed social advertising, and strategized and wrote for social platforms.
