tools & my process

I start by selecting photos of different people online or of friends, looking for fashion, hair, and color inspiration. Then I open procreate and upload my favorite images onto a canvas. On an empty corner I start to sketch. Once the drawing is complete, I begin tracing over with a thicker, custom brush, creating a layer for each shape. I then begin filling the shapes with color. If I want a cleaner more crisp look, I transfer the files into illustrator and retrace with the pen tool.
